我並沒有做過歌詞翻譯，

但是這是今年唯一一首讓我流淚的歌。

哈比人2的電影主題曲。

長湖一片平靜，另一端依稀可見孤山的輪廓，巨大而充滿壓迫，彷彿正在審視這被自己蘊藏的寶藏所毀滅的靈魂，

史矛格的屍體躺臥在湖的中央，突起宛如一座新興的島嶼，

分割了孤山以及自己倒影。

然後火焰熊熊燃起吞噬了王者的軀體、他的信念、他收復故土的野心，

他人民的慾望。

燃燒，在宛若廢墟的城鎮裡，灰飛煙滅。

一直很喜歡魔戒故事中：滄桑古老 這個部分的氛圍

寬闊廣大的世界，渺小的生命創造偉大的意志

源遠流傳的美麗故事裡，建築在燒毀的城市灰燼與巨龍的羽翼上

那份不墜的榮耀。

我覺得這首歌將對那份榮耀的欽慕與感慨，

表達的淋漓盡致勝過魔界其餘的主題曲。
